Day 01: Arrival & Transfer to Bentota

At Bandaranaike International Airport upon arrival, there will be a private transfer to your beach resort in Bentota for check-in and relaxation. Once settled into this luxurious accommodation, you can luxuriate in the tranquil surroundings or take a plunge in the pool. In the evening, enjoy a romantic dinner by the beach, gazing at the sun setting behind the Indian Ocean. Overnight stay at the resort in Bentota.

Day 2: Bentota and Galle City Tour

Start your day with a leisurely breakfast at your resort. Then, spend the morning enjoying the peaceful Bentota Beach. After that, you will go to Galle, the UNESCO-recognized city of history. There you will visit the prominent sights of Galle Fort, stroll among the small streets, visit the Dutch Reformed Church, and enjoy a few vistas from up the lighthouse. Afterwards of the tour, back to the resort for a romantic candle-lit dinner. You can enjoy your evening at the resort and spend the night in Bentota.

Day 3: Bentota to Kandy

Check out after breakfast on the third day and make your way to Kandy, about four hours by road. The scenic drive offers beautiful views of the Sri Lankan countryside. On arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy some relaxation before evening visits to the Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of Sri Lanka’s sacred destinations, and a traditional cultural dance performance. Sleep, at the end of the day, will be restful.

Day 4: Kandy to Nuwara Eliya 

Early to rise for a spectacular breakfast before embarking on a stunning leisurely train ride from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya. There’s beautiful scenery displayed amidst lush green tea plantations and rolling hills. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya, check into your hotel, then spend the rest of your afternoon relaxing. You can explore the beautiful Gregory Lake with a tranquil boat ride if you like. The town with lovely colonial architecture deserves a romantic evening stroll, and this is popularly known as, “Little England.” A friendly homemade meal will end your day at the hotel.

Day 5: Nuwara Eliya to Colombo 

The next day, breakfast, and visit one of the lush tea farms to learn how the humans and machines work together to make tea and taste fresh tea, directly from the tree. The sceneries around Nuwara Eliya are breathtaking, and that is why this is a very good place for taking beautiful photos. Next, visit bustling Colombo-the capital city of Sri Lanka-for the final leg of the journey. After check-in at the hotel, settle well for a wonderful evening, either exploring the city’s nightlife or taking in delectable dishes from the hotel. You will stay overnight in Colombo.

Day 6: Colombo Sightseeing & Depature

Your last day will be devoted to visiting the main sites of Colombo, such as Galle Face, the National Museum, and Gangaramaya Temple. You will also have time on your own for some final shopping in local markets or at the Colombo Dutch Hospital precinct. After a relaxing afternoon, you will be privately transported to Bandaranaike International Airport for departure, which will mark the end of a memorable honeymoon in Sri Lanka.
