Day 1: Kathmandu
On arrival at Kathmandu Airport, you will meet our representative. You shall then check into your hotel and shall relax in the hotel rest of the day, to either take a walk-around the hotel surroundings or a well-deserved rest to overcome your journey.
Day 2: Pashupatinath Temple & Boudhanath Stupa
Visit the holy Pashupatinath Temple, where Pashupatinath is of prime importance as a source of pilgrimage for Hindus during breakfast time. This UNESCO World Heritage site is dedicated to Lord Pashupatinath, the national deity of Nepal. It is situated on the banks of the Bagmati River. The holy Saddhus (Hindu priests) and the spiritual atmosphere surrounding this iconic temple will all be witnessed. Then, continue to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest and most important Buddhist sites in Nepal. This stupa, which is like a mandala, is surrounded by Tibetan monasteries, and is an important site for Buddhist pilgrims. Come back to your hotel by evening and spend the night in the same.
Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara
After breakfast, you check out of your hotel and take off on a scenic drive to Pokhara (about 7 hours and 210 km from Kathmandu). The drive gives you breathtaking views of the countryside. You may have time for activities such as river rafting or a visit to the Manakamna Temple by cable car. Charges are extra. Once in Pokhara, you check into your hotel and take time to relax in the natural beauty of this lakeside town.
Day 4: Pokhara Local Sightseeing
Begin your day with breakfast at your hotel, and spend the half-day sightseeing. Bindebasini Temple is devoted to the goddess Durga, who is said to be the guardian deity of Pokhara. Gupteshwar Gupha is the cave that has a great shrine of Lord Shiva and is also a sacred place for the Hindus. Continue to Devi’s Fall, where the Pardi Khola stream disappears into an underground sinkhole, creating a dramatic waterfall. Learn about the tragic story of a Swiss tourist who lost his life at the falls, adding a sense of history to the natural beauty. Return to your hotel for the evening and relax.
Day 5: Drive Back to Kathmandu
After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Pokhara and enjoy a scenic drive back to Kathmandu. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city, shop for souvenirs, or enjoy a leisurely evening in Kathmandu.
Day 6: Departure from Kathmandu
On the last day of your tour, take the day off and spend some lazy mornings in your hotel. In the evening, you will check out, get transferred to the airport and then board your flight back home carrying the memories of a fabulous Nepalese adventure
