Arriva Jammu – Katra

Upon arrival at Jammu Airport/Railway Station, meet our representative and proceed for a comfortable transfer to Katra. On arrival, check in at the hotel and relax after your journey. The rest of the day is free for leisure or exploring the local market. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Katra

Day 2

Katra – Vaishno Devi Darshan – Katra (By Helicopter)

Early morning transfer to the helipad to board the helicopter for darshan of Vaishno Devi. The helicopter drops at Sanjichhat, from where a short walk leads to the holy Bhawan. The sacred cave shrine houses three pindis symbolizing Goddess Saraswati, Goddess Lakshmi, and Goddess Kali. After darshan and purchasing prasad, return to Sanjichhat helipad to board the helicopter back to Katra. Overnight stay at the hotel in Katra.

Day 3

Katra – Srinagar

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Srinagar, enjoying the scenic beauty en route. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. Overnight stay at Srinagar.
(The barricade to cross from Jammu – Srinagar has a timing restriction as per last year protocol, so the traveler has to leave early morning from Katra).

Day 4

Srinagar – Neelgrath (Baltal) – Amarnath Cave (By Helicopter)

Early morning after breakfast, drive to Neelgrath (Baltal) helipad for helicopter boarding to the holy Amarnath Cave. The helicopter drops near the lower cave helipad, from where a short trek leads to the sacred cave where the naturally formed Ice Shivling is worshipped. Pilgrims may take a holy dip in the Amarnath stream flowing outside the cave. Palki or horse services, if required, are available at extra cost payable directly. Overnight stay at Shrine Board Camps (stay cost not included).
(The Palki/Horse if required, charges from Lower Cave to Temple and return will be extra and to be paid directly to Shrine Board Counter above or direct with operating vendors)

Day 5

Lower Cave – Neelgrath – Kheer Bhawani – Srinagar

In the morning, board the helicopter from the lower cave helipad back to Neelgrath and drive towards Srinagar. En route, visit the revered Kheer Bhawani Temple, built over a sacred spring believed to change colors. (Visit is subject to security permissions.) Continue the drive to Srinagar and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Srinagar.
(Kheer Bhawani Temple visit is depend upon security protocol decided by Central Govt then and there, due to security some access to Temple may be restricted)

Day 6

Srinagar Local Sightseeing – Srinagar Airport Drop

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for local sightseeing of Srinagar. Visit the famous Mughal Gardens including Chashme Shahi, Nishat Bagh, and Shalimar Bagh, beautifully laid along the banks of Dal Lake. Later visit Shankaracharya Temple, situated on a hilltop offering panoramic views of the city, Dal Lake, and River Jhelum. En route, visit a handloom center famous for Pashmina shawls and traditional Kashmiri carpets. As per flight schedule, transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey.

PAYMENT POLICY

50% of the Total Package Cost is required at the time of booking to confirm the reservation (Non-Refundable)
Remaining 50% After Issuing Helicopter Tickets.
Failure to pay the balance within the stipulated time may result in automatic cancellation of the booking and applicable cancellation charges will apply.
All payments must be made via approved payment modes (Bank Transfer / UPI / Card / Cheque, etc.)
Any bank charges or transaction fees, if applicable, shall be borne by the client

CANCELLATION POLICY

50% of the total package cost will be charged as cancellation fee for any cancellation made after booking confirmation.
100% of the total package cost will be charged as cancellation fee for cancellations made between 1 to 10 days prior to the travel date.
Cancellation must be made in writing via email/official communication.
Any non-refundable components (lights,Helicopter etc.) will be charged as per actuals, over and above the cancellation charges, if applicable.
Refund, if any, will be processed after deducting applicable cancellation charges and bank/transaction fees.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

FOR VAISHNO DEVI YATRA

Helicopter services start from Katra in the foothills and the flight will drop you at Sanjichhat. For any refund issue please send a request within 15 days after the date of travel. No request for a refund shall be entertained beyond the specified period.
Passengers are requested to report at the departure heliport one hour before the notified departure time of the flight or at Reporting Time mentioned in the PTD. Passengers reporting beyond these timings shall be treated as “NO SHOW”, with no refund against the NO SHOW Ticket.
Children below 2 years of age will be carried free of cost. However, such children shall be carried in the lap of the accompanying adult. In case of a dispute regarding the age of an infant, valid proof of age shall be the deciding factor.

HELICOPTER OPERATIONS

The Helicopters shall operate subject to fair weather conditions, clear visibility of the range prescribed by the DGCA, and clearance by the ATC.
The flight from Katra to Sanjichhat takes a total of approx. 08 minutes.
5-6 passengers can be accommodated in one flight.
The helipad is approx. 2 Km. from Bus Stand Katra at Udhampur Road. Vaishnodevi Bhawan is approx. 2.5 Km. from Helipad Sanjichhat.
Helicopter booking is once done, shall not be postponed or Pre- postponed.
The cancellation can be made up to (and not after) 04 days before the scheduled date of travel. The refund shall be made ordinarily within 30 days from the date of cancellation of the tickets.
Full fare refund shall be made only in case of cancellation of helicopter operations due to bad weather/technical reasons at the end of Helicopter Operators. Passengers are requested to submit their online Helicopter Ticket in person to the concerned helicopter operator against proper receipt for the online refund.
Once booked, the ticket shall be non-transferable.

FOR AMARNATH YATRA

Yatris who wish to avail Helicopter Service to Lower Cave for their pilgrimage to Shri Amarnath ji Cave Shrine are not required to seek Advance Registration through the designated Bank branches as their Helicopter Tickets is treated as Yatra permits for undertaking the Yatra (pilgrimage).
But such Yatris will be required to produce Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC) for each passenger (Yatri), duly issued by Authorized Doctors/ Institutes as per instructions laid down by Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board (SASB).
Please note that No Yatri is allowed to board the Helicopter without first submitting the CHC.
Also note that the prescribed CHC should have been issued from specified date by the Authorized Doctor/ Medical Institution. The CHC's issued before specified date would not be valid.
Children below 13 years in age, elderly persons above the age of 70 years and Ladies who are more than 6 weeks pregnant are not be permitted to undertake the pilgrimage.
Only One handbag weighing a maximum of 3kg per passenger is allowed
Following documents are accepted as valid Photo IDs (except for Pan Card): Valid Passport/Driving License/Election Card/Photo Id issued by Govt/PSU and School Photo ID (Please carry all originals and 02 photocopy/Xerox as well).
The instructions including reporting time given by the respective Helicopter service provider are required to be strictly followed.
If the Helicopter does not operate due to bad weather, technical or any other unforeseen reasons, we will not be responsible for any financial loss that may be incurred by the passengers due to this. They may offer the passengers an option to travel the next day.
In case the passenger is unable to perform the Helicopter journey due to the above-mentioned reasons, the printed amount balance will refund to guest after receiving from Helicopter Company/Shrine Board.
The Helicopter travel is subject to all the terms and conditions mentioned on the Helicopter Tickets. Passengers are requested to read them carefully.
