Guwahati – Shillong
Start your Meghalaya and Assam Tour by arriving at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station. The agent will receive you and will transfer you to Shillong which is also known as ‘The Scotland of the East’. After arrival at the hotel, complete all the check-in formalities and then relax into your room. Spend your remaining day at the Hotel.
Shillong Sightseeing
After breakfast, we proceed for a full day local sightseeing tour of Shillong and we would visit State Museum, Ward’s Lake, Botanical Garden, Spread Eagle Falls or Sati Falls, and Lady Hydari Park. Return to the hotel. Post lunch we visit Barapani Lake. Evening free. Overnight stay in Shillong.
Shillong – Cherrapunjee (Sightseeing)
After breakfast, Check out from the hotel and transfer to Cherrapunjee also known as ‘The Wettest Place on Earth’. Arrive Cherrapunjee. Check-in the hotel. Later visit Limestone Cave, Waterfalls – Nohsngithiang Falls, Nohkailikai Falls (world’s fourth highest), and Dainthlen Falls. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.
Cherrapunjee – Kaziranga National Park
After having a delicious breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Kaziranga. Enroute visit Gunner’s Falls 1, Elephant Falls, and Shillong Peak. Check-in to your hotel on arrival. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Kaziranga Sightseeing
Today early in the morning, take an Elephant ride. Then after breakfast, we embark on a jeep safari to Central Range. And after that, in the afternoon after finishing your lunch, we will visit the Western range. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Kaziranga – Guwahati
After having a delicious breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Guwahati. Guwahati is known for holy sites like the hilltop Kamakhya Temple, featuring shrines to the Hindu deities Shiva and Vishnu. It's a sprawling city beside the Brahmaputra River in the northeast Indian state of Assam.
Arrive Guwahati. Check-in to your hotel on arrival. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
Guwahati Sightseeing
Early morning, visit Kamakhya Temple. Then return to the hotel. Post breakfast we would take you on a sightseeing trip to Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary and evening to Brahmaputra Cruise. Later return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Guwahati.
Guwahati – Airport / Railway Station
After a sumptuous breakfast, check out from the hotel. This will be the last day of your Meghalaya and Assam Tour Package. You will depart for Guwahati Airport or Railway Station to board your flight or Train.
